
Jacquline Adan has always struggled with her weight, body image, and her relationship with food. After hitting rock bottom when she got stuck in a turnstile, in her favorite place in the world, Disneyland. She found herself weighing over 500 pounds and turned her life around by losing more than 300 pounds. She achieved this remarkable feat by changing her diet and starting to exercise. Kevin has been with Jacqueline through it all, from the struggles of her weighing over 500 pounds to the ups and downs of her 300-pound weight loss journey. Episode 23 covers goal setting and using S.M.A.R.T. goals to reach a larger overall goal. Jacquline shares about her journey and how using this specific type of goal setting helped her achieve her tremendous weight loss success as well as how she is still using this type of goal setting. Smart goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. We talk in-depth as to how and why this type of goal creates more success when you use process type goals that will help you to achieve your overall larger goals. You don't set a S.M.A.R.T. goal to lose 300 pounds...you set many S.M.A.R.T. goals that help you with water intake, exercise, food/eating, etc that allow you and help push you towards that overall weight loss goal. When you set small goals that you can achieve you get that positive boost of feeling good about the accomplishment that keeps you motivated instead of feeling overwhelmed and defeated because you are in a negative place and feel as if you can never accomplish anything. Put a plan in place and continue to push and you will be able to put S.M.A.R.T. goals in place to help you achieve ANYTHING that you set your mind to.

Jacqueline started sharing her Journey in 2016 and has yet to look back. She is has had her story shared with many national and international media outlets. Technology and Sports have always been some of Kevin's biggest interests. His passion for technology led to him helping Jacqueline with producing the content for her blog, social media, and YouTube. After being a long time podcast listener he decided it was time for the two of them to co-host a podcast to dive deeper into the topics and content that she was already sharing.
